Thesis describing Artificial Intelligence and whether or not it will be good for our future?
Q. I am doing a research project in English and i have to maintain a focus to my topic... which is Artificial Intelligence. I need to either have a thesis statement or question presented in the beginning of my report that will be answered throughout my paper. I've been trying to come up with something all week and i still have no ideas. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!! Thank you! :)

A. Since artificial intelligence doesn't exist in its own right (as in a sentient thinking intelligence that is not based on human intelligence), I would think it'd be hard making a thesis about the theory of it, unless you're very knowledgeable about AI. You could do a thesis on how literature and media may influence AI, even before it is a reality. Many stories show artificial intelligence as having a single purpose - of serving humans until the artificial intelligence becomes "smarter" than humans, but has no emotional center like humans do. This almost inevitably results in artificial intelligence taking over the human race, for the good of humans. iRobot is one of many examples of this. AI is not always shown as evil, though. In Orson… [cont.]
