I am in dying help with my homework right now. I have a LAB REPORT to do over ENZYME CATALASE.?
Q. My lab report is due tomorrow. Please read. abstract in this experiment we will be working with a universal organism; liver. Catalase is present in liver used to prevent congestion of toxic levels of hydrogen peroxide (H202). The purpose of this experiment is to view the rate of reaction at the site of the catalase. Our method for this experiment was we placed the catalase into a reaction chamber into a container of water with a 100 mL graduated cylinder. There are 4 time courses we observerd each for 5 minutes. During each 30 sec. interval, as a group the rate of reaction was recorded. In result, the 3 courses we observed, we noticed that during the .30-2:00 minute interval, the amount of liquid in the graduated cylinder moved alot… [cont.]

A. there are a few things missing and some incorrect conclusions. first, what was the room temp and what was the water temp? second, as time progresses, did the temp change the rate of reaction? I did this a long long time ago and I can't remember the details, but your abstract is incomplete. take account of all factors that can change the rate of reaction. that is amount of reactants, temp, amount of catalyst, etc.

Global Warming Is Planet Earth in Peril?
Q. FOR the people of Tuvalu, a group of islands no more than 13 feet above sea level, global warming is, not abstract science, but a daily reality, says the Herald.* Thousands have already left the islands, and many more are preparing to go. Meanwhile, Robert, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, can water his garden only on certain days, using a bucket not a hose. And unless he goes to a car wash that recycles water, he can wash only parts of his car mirrors, windows, and registration plates. Why such restrictions? Robert lives in a part of the country that is suffering from what has been called the worst drought in a century. Other areas are even worse off. Are the problems in Australia and Tuvalu evidence of global warming? What Some… [cont.]

Does anyone else feel like we (as a species) are reaching our purpose in life?
Q. I feel for some reason that we are either going to destory ourselves or discover the secret meaning of life. Soon. Think about artificial intelligence. Robots with emotions and feelings like humans. I feel like we are becoming gods ourselves. With the ability to create living organisms as we see fit and control them (program them) to live as we want. I don't know, just an abstract thought from a 15-year-old... Anyone else feel the same? (Please. No rude atheist remarks.) By rude atheist remarks I was refering to the fact that anytime someone posts a religious question, atheists prove (As the first poster stated) their intolerance and jealousy. I don't need an explanation and I don't need to be flamed. Just don't argue. I'm not in the… [cont.]

A. Unless you assume a God, the question of life s purpose is meaningless. Bertrand Russell If there is a God, then the secret meaning of life involves seeking Him for that must be what He intends for us to do (seek and ye shall find). I think as a species we're coming closer to destroying ourselves. Science is providing the means for mass destruction. Prior to 1945, we had no way to kill everyone but now we do.
